We’ve just finished a significant refresh of the Jadeful companion site — and honestly, it’s been one of the more satisfying projects we’ve worked on in a while.
For years, some of the help pages on this site carried placeholder content or outdated links pointing to URLs that no longer existed. Practitioners landing here after a Google search would find empty pages or broken references. Not a great look for a platform that prides itself on precision.
What’s changed
We’ve rebuilt the FAQ section from the ground up with eight new sub-pages covering everything from trial details to citation guides. The Quick Tips section now has six practical guides — from searching legislation effectively to getting the most from Jasmine AI.
The Power Features and Panels pages have been written from scratch with real, useful content. And every page on the site now points to jade.io rather than the old jade.barnet.com.au domain.
Why this matters
A help site is only useful if the help is actually there. When a practitioner searches “how do JADE section citations work” and lands on a page that explains it clearly — with links to try it themselves — that’s the difference between a confused visitor and a confident user.
We’ve also updated all statistics across the site to reflect JADE’s current scale: 790,000+ decisions, 6 million+ pinpoint citations, and 223,000+ statutes across 128 jurisdictions. These aren’t just impressive numbers — they represent the breadth of coverage practitioners rely on every day.
There’s more coming
This refresh is part of a broader effort to make JADE more approachable for new users while giving experienced practitioners better tools. If you spot anything that could be improved, or have a topic you’d like us to cover, drop us a line at help@jade.io.
